    Short Bio:
    Early Life
Born in The United States, she was raised in Aurora, Illinois, the largest Chicago suburb and second largest municipality in Illinois. She was raised by a single Mother, Stephanie Cabrera, Puerto Rico's first female surf champion. In high school she won multiple national championships with the all-star cheerleading team, ICE Athletics. She was voted high school Homecoming Queen of West Aurora High School. After graduating she received a scholarship from Rotary International district 6450 and studied abroad for a year. Upon her return from Chile, she moved to Florida and attended The University of Tampa. She majored in Communications and Commerce with a minor in Spanish. While in college she signed with multiple agencies and started her modeling career.

    Miss Puerto Rico 2011
On July 4, 2011 Cristina competed as Miss San Juan in Miss Puerto Rico, where she placed first runner-up and was crowned Miss Puerto Rico's Sweetheart. She won the prestigious "Miss Miracle Maker award" for raising the most money for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. During the talent portion, she performed a technical gymnastics routine and was recognized for her platform, "Cookies to Character" in partnership with the Girl Scouts of the USA.
    Miss Florida Latina 2013
Less than a year later, Cristina was crowned Miss Central Florida Latina. On March 25, 2012, she competed at nationals and won Miss Florida Latina 2013. Less than a year later, she represented Florida in the international beauty pageant, Miss Latina US in Maya Riviera, Mexico. She was awarded for the best national costume, "The Pearl of the Caribbean," which symbolized her Puerto Rican heritage.  At the national competition in Mexico, she placed in the top 10 finalists.
    Miss Florida USA 2014
In 2013 The Puerto Rican Parade of Florida selected Cristina as their official candidate to compete in Miss Florida USA 2014. Her entry into the state pageant broke boundaries, as the first contestant to ever compete with an ethnic title from a different country. Besides being the queen of the largest Puerto Rican Parade in Florida and the second largest in the United States, she also spent the year promoting her platform of cultural diversity. The largest Puerto Rican Day Parade is in New York City.
    Modeling Career
Cristina became an instant NASCAR personality after signing a contract with Michael Waltrip Racing. She was initially hired as the team's Latina Spokesmodel, bringing in the Hispanic fans. As the national spokesmodel, she traveled to each race in the Sprint Cup Series across the United States. Each weekend Cristina assisted in the management of the MWR girl's social media, including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. She was featured in the 2013 July issue of NASCAR Illustrated. In addition to appearances on Fox Trackside and radio interviews, Cristina also hosted segments for NASCAR Espanol, teaching the Hispanic fans about NASCAR tracks and rules.
In 2012 Cristina signed an international modeling contract with Axe (also known as Lynx in the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, and New Zeland). She modeled in their Axe Anarchy campaign in Belize. In 2013 she resigned with Axe and is working on an undisclosed project.
Since the fall of 2010, Cristina has been featured in commercials for some of the top Fortune 500 Companies. Her first commercial was for Pepsi, which was shot in Tropicana Field with celebrity baseball player, Derrick Jeter. Besides English commercials, she also did a Spanish commercial for Publix.
In addition to her work as a beauty queen and model, Cristina has become actively involved in charity, helping raise money for various causes. In 2007 she was recognized by Tom Weisner, the major of Aurora, Illinois for raising the most money in the city for the Invisible Children, Inc. of Uganda. A few years later she was given the prestigious award, Miss Miracle Maker, for the amount of funds she raised in Puerto Rico for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
